Jerry Devine will be charged with a summary offense of harassment according to the Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler.

The incident happened at a game Devine coached for the Chattanooga High School.

The referee was not injured, but the DA says Devine broke the rules and should be punished.

For a coach to indulge himself really by stepping outside of the rules in that fashion is simply a betrayal of the trust he has as a coach.

Devine returned to his teaching position yesterday but remains on suspension from his heavy coaching job.
